The remarkable Umah di Beji is a riverside estate, accessed by a long
private driveway off a small village road in Canggu. This lavish property
reflects design elements associated with the royal palaces of Java. The five
thatched living pavilions form three sides of a square, the fourth being the
river and all encompass an elegant
landscaped garden, replete with stone staircases and cascading lily ponds.
The gardens slope down to a raised slate lined swimming pool, backed by
towering stands of bamboo with the far banks of the river rising to steep
tiered rice fields. Overlooking the property is the open living pavilion
with an enormous dining table, spacious seating areas and adjoining kitchen.
Two poolside bales offer further space for entertaining and both command
great views of the luxuriant gardens.
The master bedroom is housed by the river, at the far end of the estate and
has one of Bali's most extravagant en suite bathrooms. As well as its own
private terrace and walled garden, this stately bathroom features a bath in
the middle of a lily pond only accessible by stepping-stones. Only for the
truly discerning, Umah di Beji is a palatial retreat with impeccable style.

MAIN LEVEL - LIVING PAVILION
Private drive way with covered parking. Entrance through Balinese gates, across lawn, onto large
open living and dining area. Lounge space for up to 16 people, ceiling fans, TV with satellite
channels, VCD, DVD, stereo. A full selection of movies, CDs, books and board games are available.
Dining area seats 12 comfortably, with outdoor dining for 10 also available. Kitchen, with back
scullery, features oven, hob, fridge, freezer, toaster/grill, fruit juice maker, coffee filter
and dish washing machine. Laundry area with washing machine.
MAIN LEVEL - MASTER BEDROOM PAVILION
Outside veranda with day bed and breakfast table leading to bedroom with king bed, mosquito net,
A/C, ceiling fan, safe box, hairdryer, TV with satellite and VCD. Large closet area behind leading
to en-suite bathroom with tub (within lily pond), shower, double wash basin, toilet. Private garden
with covered relaxation and exercise area.
MAIN LEVEL - MAIN BEDROOM PAVILION
A twin bedroom on one side, king double on the other side and a central. open lounge and breakfast
area in the middle. Both bedrooms have exactly the same facilities as the master bedroom. Each has
a separate walk-in closet, with wash basin, leading to identical en-suite garden style bathrooms,
featuring a tub, outdoor shower and toilet.
MAIN LEVEL - SEPERATE BEDROOM PAVILIONS
There are two additional pavilions, each separate, one has a king double and the other has a
queen double bed. They have the same facilities as the other bedrooms, with a walk-in closet
with wash basin, which lead to private en-suite garden style bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a
tub, outdoor shower and toilet. The queen bedded room has a terrace with breakfast and day bed
area.
MAIN LEVEL - OTHER PAVILIONS
Adjacent to living area is a toilet and powder room. Next to the pool is a massage bale and
overlooking the river is another bale for outdoor dining. A floodlit tennis court completes
the facilities.
